The Woman
I’m so grateful that you’re here with me…
I’m Taylor.
I'm a home-based foster and adoptive family clinician and marriage and family therapist in the South Loop of downtown Chicago. I am also certified as a Secondary English Language Arts Teacher. I'm a masters-level graduate of Northwestern University, bachelors-level graduate from (the illustrious) Spelman College, and leopard from Mattie T. Blount High School. I'm a transplant to Chicago, an ATLien, and a little country girl from Prichard, Alabama.
I have been set apart to help Black folks, folks of color, and the world tell their stories and heal. I have been blessed with a unique set of skills, nestled in between teaching, therapy, and being a child of God, by which I’m grateful to employ in service to the world.
I'm a therapist, a speaker, a writer, a consultant, a researcher, an educator, a meditator, a sister, a friend, a Believer... and God has been telling me that there's even more.
